First have students find a review of an exhibit, performance or other creative work. Have them summarize the key points of the review. Then have them write a review of a creative work. - Finding the Best Article
Students find and write an annotation of an article on related to a topic determined by the class. They evaluate the article based on criteria developed by consensus in class.

Using the personal folder feature in ArtStor, have students create an online "exhibit." Have another student review that exhibit. Can be combined with the Finding and Writing Reviews example above.
