Download Popular E-Books and Audiobooks!
From the USU OverDrive home page, scroll through the categories using the right and left arrows. You can view all the titles in a category by clicking on 'complete list' in the upper right corner of each category. If you wish to limit your browsing to fiction or non-fiction, in either audiobook or ebook form, you will find those options listed on the upper right side of the page.
Once you find a book you want to read, select the 'add to cart' link next to the format that is appropriate for your device. From here, you may continue browsing or you can check out your cart. You will need to sign in using your A# and password.
You can also search for OverDrive titles in our regular library catalog. Perform a keyword search for the series 'OverDrive popular' to see all the OverDrive titles we own, or you can search specifically for 'Overdrive ebook' or 'Overdrive audiobook' to retrieve a list of titles in your desired format.
Once you locate a book you would like to read, click on the green 'Online Access' button to visit the OverDrive site, where you can sign in and download the book.
Placing a hold
If the book you want to read is already checked out, you can place a hold on it by selecting the 'Add to My Wait List' link beside the appropriate format. You will be prompted to sign in (if you haven't already) and you will be asked for an email address so that you can receive notification when the book is available for you to download it.
Additionally, if you have reached your checkout limit but find more books you would like to read, you can create a 'Wish List' to remind you of these titles when your current checkouts expire. Simply click on the 'Add to Wish List' link next to the title. Note that you have to be signed in in order to place holds or save items to your 'Wish List'.
