Native American Heritage Month: Home

Support education, celebration, awareness, and engagement of American Indian and Alaskan Native nations, cultures, and communities at the USU Logan campus through educational opportunities, community-engaged learning, and celebration events in order to provide all students with learning opportunities in a collaborative environment.

The Native American Student Council (NASC) is an organization that represents Native American Students at Utah State University. NASC creates a community on campus for Native American Students and an inclusive environment for Non-Native students to experience authentic Native culture and norms.

We provide events and activities to celebrate the beauty found within Native American cultures. NASC provides Native American and non-Native American students with elements of peer support, leadership development, and various cultural experiences enhancing appreciation of the Native peoples’ of North America.

UICSL is located 2 miles from downtown Salt Lake City; because of our unique physical placement we are able to serve the Utah tribal populations of: Ute, Paiute, Goshute, Dine’/Navajo, Shoshoni, and Arapaho, Oglala Sioux, Cheyenne River Sioux, Wind River Shoshone, Cherokee, and Rosebud Sioux from neighboring states.

Pandos peacefully advocates for basic human, environmental, and Indigenous rights. By organizing support and education, we encourage dialogue and the protection of our shared home​. We are a diverse group of both native and non-native people who are passionate about working together to ensure this mission. We are passionate individuals focused on healing ourselves and our communities. We aspire to be good relatives.

Utah Diné Bikéyah, pronounced di-NAY bi-KAY-yuh, can literally be translated from the Navajo language to “the people’s sacred lands”. UDB, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to healing of people and the Earth through supporting Indigenous communities and protecting their culturally significant, ancestral lands. Our mission is simply to “Preserve and protect the cultural and natural resources of ancestral Native American Lands to benefit and bring healing to people and the Earth.”
