ORCID Affiliation Manager
The ORCID Affiliation Manager is a tool that allows institutions to manage their researchers' affiliations directly within ORCID. By authorizing your institution to add your research information to your ORCID record, you can streamline the process of updating your affiliations and ensuring that your scholarly work is accurately attributed to USU.

How to authorize USU to add your research information to your ORCID record:
USU Libraries is currently working with select departments on campus to pilot the affiliation manager. If you receive an email from your department head asking you to participate in this initiative, please follow the steps in email, or you can follow the steps below:
- Log in to your ORCID account.
- Click on the "Authorize Access" button.
- Search for "Utah State University" and select it.
- Review the permissions and click "Authorize Access."
Once you have authorized USU, our system will automatically update your ORCID record with your current affiliation information.

Single Sign On (SSO)
You can use the USU SSO interface to sign in to your ORCID account. To activate SSO for ORCID:
- Check you are signed out of ORCID
- Go to the ORCID sign in page
- Click “Access through your institution”
- Select “Utah State University”
- Enter your A number and password
- Enter your ORCID iD and password
- Approve USU as a Trusted Party
