Creating Videos in the Innovation Hub

The Library's Innovation Hub is a space for creativity and hands-on learning. Whether you're recording a podcast, editing multimedia projects, or exploring new technology, the Hub has tools and support to bring your ideas to life!

1. Multimedia Studio & Equipment
   • You do not need any software when using the recording studio. Simply bring in a USB 2.0, plug it in, and press record. Additional editing software can be found in our Digital Scholarship Room.
   • Reserve the Recording Studio
   • Recording Studio written instructions and video instructions
2. Lightboard
   • The lightboard requires a laptop connection to operate the recording software. If you do not have one, a loaner laptop is available at the IT desk. We recommend using Zoom since it has easy capabilities to mirror your video, but you are welcome to use any additional video recording software that you feel comfortable with.
   • Ask IT staff to help you get it set up.

   • The Innovation Hub is open the same hours as the Merrill-Cazier Library. See those hours here
