Everyone is different, which means there are a million ways to study effectively. Figure out which works best for you! 

Flashcards

Space It Out

  • space out studying over an appropriate period of time
  • allows mind to make connections and builds understanding of information

Color-coding Assignments and Notes

  • dynamic way to organize information
  • color can improve memory and recall

Build a Mind-Map

  • visual way to learn and improves reading comprehension
  • mapping follows brain's structure for storing and retrieving information

Make It Simple

  • explain what you learned in your own way
  • allows for better understanding of materials and highlights areas for improvement
