Featured Electronic Book Collections

Merrill-Cazier Library has recently added a number of major collections of veterinary medicine e-books to our holdings.

Finding Books at Merrill-Cazier Library

Merrill-Cazier Library collects print and electronic books in the field of veterinary medicine and the basic and comparative life sciences.  Print books are housed in the main library stacks in their respective subject classifications and have the standard 3-week (undergraduate) and 16-week (graduate students, faculty, and staff) check out periods. Most electronic books are licensed for simultaneous access by multiple users.  All book holdings may be identified by searching the library catalog.

The Veterinary Medicine Reserve Collection includes required and recommended textbooks for the School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as other key texts in veterinary medicine education.  These items are housed in the Course Reserves area on the first floor of the Merrill-Cazier Library and are subject to the 2-hour reserves check-out period.  Users may browse this collection on the shelves, look for a particular item in the library catalog, or browse the title list in the catalog by choosing the 'advanced search'.  Set the drop-down menu to 'series' and type Veterinary Medicine Collection in the search box.
