Create Account

SSO Option (Undergraduate and Graduate Students)

If you are a student creating a new account, create your account by going to the ICPSR homepage, clicking "login" in the top right corner, and sign into ICPSR using your A-number and strong password by clicking Access through your institution.

Legacy Account Option (Graduate Students and Faculty)

If you already had a MyData account, please use the same email address to maintain account-related records. Likewise, if you will need access to your account after leaving USU, please follow the directions below to create an account:

You must be on campus or using the USU VPN to create an account. Create your account by going to the ICPSR homepage, clicking "login" in the top right corner, and then create an account with your email, ORCID id, or Google account.

A account allows ICPSR users to:

• Download data and use online analysis tools
• Download data available only to ICPSR members
• Generate utilization reports and download statistics
• Update your account profile and settings

Access to members-only ICPSR data is limited to current USU students, staff, and faculty.

Account Reauthorization

Account permissions are valid for 6 months. Log in to your account from campus or via the USU VPN every six months to reauthorize your account and maintain access to members-only data.
