How to use the Special Collections
Research in Special Collections is not as simple as research in the Library. Use the link above to understand how Special Collections works and its hours of operation.
BARN (Borrowers Automated Retrieval Network)
Instructions for requesting material stored in the BARN, primarily print magazines.
Registering for an Account in the Library Catalog
Register for an account in order to reserve a group study room, get material from storage (the BARN) and renew books online.
All of the journals listed below are linked to their corresponding record in the USU online catalog. Each journal is available in print format, either in the BARN or in Special Collections. These journals publish exclusively on Mormon issues and history.
Sunstone, Dialogue, and Mormon History offer free access to the archive of the journal. This means that to get the most current three years you will have to use the resources listed above in the print journals.
