Encyclopedia of Mormonism
This is Encyclopedia is not officially an LDS church sanctioned book, however it was published with support from Mormon national leadership. This encyclopedia contains over 1,500 articles all on Mormon topics.
Encyclopedia of Mormonism (BYU Web)
This is the earliest version of the Encyclopedia listed above. This version was first published in 1987, although it is not as current as the printed version, there is the advantage of searching by keyword.

A Mormon Bibliography 1830-1930
This bibliography is very extensive and a great resource for locating additional books and authors for your research. The biggest draw back to this bibliography is that it is limited by its coverage, only listing books though the 1920's.

Historical Dictionary of Mormonism
This is a great resource for finding direct information about Mormonism, its issues and topics throughout history. Another useful resource with this dictionary is the large bibliography broken down by subject.
