Finding Books, Journals, Media, and More: The BARN @ Merrill-Cazier Library

When searching in the library catalog, you may come across an item that seems to be located in...a barn?

The BARN is actually an automated storage and retrieval system. Termed the BARN, this system accommodates the current collection and allows for future growth of the library’s collections. It allows for increased storage and maximizes space in the new facility.

For items that are located in the BARN, you will have to request them by placing a hold on the item. Don't forget to choose a location where you want to pick up the item and submit your request.

You will be notified once the material is ready for pick-up.
