Tips

Tip:

Use Google to Search for Government Documents.

Google can be a powerful tool to find documents on government websites. Use "site:.gov" to precede your search terms to find government agency sites that pertain to your topic. Placing your search terms in quotation marks may help as well. Need additional help? Ask a Librarian.

Tip:

Looking for materials from U.S. government sources?

Enter your search terms into the library catalog and use the Advanced Search to limit your Material Type to Government Document. For additional support, see Finding Government Information.
