Original backdrop and stage designs for the plays: Hay fever, Arsenic and old lace, and She stoops to conquer done in acrylic, graphite, and gesso on tissue paper and mounted on illustration board (51 x 76 cm.) The collection also includes a stage design for a theatrical version of A Christmas carol done in gouache, watercolor, and graphite on illustration board. Each design is signed "Sid Perkes" and dated. The design for A Christmas carol is dated "92" while the others are dated "81."

The play was mounted by the University of Utah in the spring of 1974 and was performed in Pioneer Memorial Theatre.
