Services at the LLC
Welcome to USU Eastern and the Library and Learning Commons. We offer a range of services that go beyond our book collections, including:
- Research ConsultationsYou can meet virtually with a librarian in Logan via this link or meet with your Eastern librarian directly via the link to the right.
- PrintingNeed to turn in a paper copy of a paper or assignment? We have you covered.
- Circulating TechnologyWe offer a range of technology available for student checkout. This includes: Laptops, Calculators, 3D Printing Pens, Chargers, and Headphones. Check out period varies by item. Inquire at the Circulation Desk.
- Study RoomsThe LLC has 3 study rooms than can be reserved in advance!
- Academic Tutor CenterThe LLC houses the Eastern Academic Tutor Center! Subjects offered include: math, statistics, biology, chemistry...and more. Check the website for full list of current tutors, hours available, and subjects offered.
- Writing CenterThe USU Eastern Writing Center offers a variety of resources to help you complete your writing assignments and become a better writer in the process. We offer tutoring for any writing project in any class at any stage of the writing project. There is no charge for any of the services in the Writing Center.
- ID Card OfficeNeed your official USUE ID? The campus ID card office is located in the LLC!
- Center for Instructional Design & InnovationAre you faculty in need of assistance designing online course materials? Schedule a meeting with our on-campus CIDI team member!

Access Library Resources Off Campus
Make sure to have your a number and password at the ready as you will be prompted to enter and perform the two-factor authentication. But once that is done, you will be able to access our full suite of online resources!
- Find E-BooksUSU has access to thousands of eBooks, all of which you can read from home
- Request Materials Through Interlibrary LoanIs there a book located at another USU library that you would like? Perhaps there is a book or article you need that we do not have? Simply request it via Interlibrary Loan! For a book, we will even ship it to your home and include a return mailing label.
Maker's Loft
The LLC has multiple 3D printers, a large format plotter (poster) printer, laminating machines, and comb binding machines, along with so many more tools and machines to use. These are all open to use by the USUE and greater Price community for a small materials charge. Contact Lexy Gonzalez for more information.
Special Collections and Archives
The Lee Reading Room, LLC 108, is home to the LLC’s non-circulating collections related to local and university history. While its holdings include published items, much of the collection is unpublished and primary source material. There are a variety of items available in house, and online.
