Open Access Support: Publisher Agreements

Open access support options available for USU researchers.

Publisher Agreements

USU Libraries has negotiated agreements with publishers to cover the costs of open access publishing as part of our subscription and licensing deals. These agreements are designed to provide a way for USU authors to publish their work open access without having to pay the Article Processing Charges (APCs) out of their own pockets. These agreements allow USU researchers to make their work freely and openly accessible to a global audience, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and advancing the mission of the University.

ACM

USU libraries have partnered with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) to make it possible for all USU authors to make their new conference proceedings or journal articles open access. Upon acceptance, authors will receive an email with information about selecting a creative commons license. For more information, click here.

Authors accepted to Gold OA journals will automatically qualify for funding. The library will be notified upon your formal acceptance and approve funding.
