Using Room 154 in Merrill-Cazier Library: Face to Face Mode

This guide provides training and information on how to use the equipment in room 154 of the Merrill-Cazier Library.

Using Face to Face Mode on PC and Laptop

Using Face to Face Mode With the Desk PC:

  1. Press the Face to Face button in the top right of the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Make sure PC mode is selected.
    • There is a symbol showing the PC.
  3. This will present whatever is pulled up on the PC screen to the main display at the front of the room (as long as its on).

Using Face to Face Mode With a Laptop:

  1. Press the Face to Face button in the top right of the Crestron touch screen.
  2. Make sure Laptop mode is selected.
    • There is a symbol showing a laptop.
  3. Plug in the HDMI cord at the desk into your laptop.
    • If your laptop doesn't have an HDMI port, you will have to bring an adapter.
  4. This will present whatever is pulled up on the laptop screen to the main display at the front of the room (as long as its on).

Please note: If you are experiencing issues with audio, check your laptop's settings.
